Fit Freedom is an augmented reality (AR) body measurement application. Fit Freedom uses the consumer’s smartphone camera to provide quick, simple body measurements, creating a 3D “fit model” that recommends sizes.
It’s used by thousands of cheerleading gyms, college’s, pro teams, and high schools.
My Role
Solo UI/UX Designer of Mobile App, Discovery, requirement gathering and ideation with Client. Create intuitvie frictionless user experience for non technical users. Produced detailed specifications and assets for seamless developer handoff.
My Goal
Simplify the body measurement process for users.
Create an easy to manage program and athlete list.
My Process
- Understand the clients company, goals, users, pain points and current work flows.
- Talked to key state holders
- Help create high level work flows
- Reviewed written requirements and technical requirements.
- Multiple Rounds of Rapid Prototyping
- Documented more detailed requirements with client and team based off mockups
- Gathered user feedback and iterated on designs
- Simplified user flow and created intuitive interface
- Altered flow based of technical challenges with hurting the user experience
- Tested, Refined, Polished
