A Sports Betting Mobile App

The SharpRank sports betting mobile app provides its users with access to its objective cross-sport performance ranking system for professional sports gamblers, also known as “Sharps.”
SharpRank developed a proprietary algorithm that objectively evaluates Sharps performance over time, generating insights and metrics for sports fans who are seeking to improve their sports bets. The app collects data from a variety of sources, crunching the numbers so users can clearly determine a Sharp’s accuracy and track record for various teams and leagues.
My Role
Solo UI/UX Designer of Mobile App. I was a part of discovery, requirement gathering and ideation with Client. Translated complex product requirements into clean, engaging users experinces across the app. Produced detailed specifications and assets for seamless developer handoff.
My Process
- Understanding the clients company, goals, users, pain points and current work flows.
- The client came with their own dev team and technical requirements.
- I worked from the clients wireframes and written requirements.
- Multiple Rounds of Rapid Prototyping
- Documented more detailed requirements with client and team based off mockups
- Gathered user feedback and iterated on designs
- Simplified user flow and created intuitive interface
- Tested, Refined, Polished
